Chicken Foraging Turned Grocery shopping

Have you ever started out to do one thing and 45 minutes it’s turned into something else.

That’s how my “I am just gathering chicken food” went. I started out picking dead nettle for my chickens and ended up picking violets and hyacinths as well.

18 happy chickens and 3 jars of simple syrup later this momma is happy! Oh how I love shopping in our yard!
